What is your Organizing process?

Each project is unique, just like you, but there are a few steps I follow every time. First, we’ll discuss what’s working and what’s not, as well as your vision for the space. We’ll also take a look at your lifestyle, habits, and available time to ensure the systems we create are realistic and manageable for you.

Next, I’ll create a customized plan. We’ll then go through the items in the space, deciding what to keep and what to let go. Finally, we’ll organize and style the space, bringing everything together in a neat and functional way.

What is your styling process?

Just like with organizing, we’ll start by discussing your goals for the project and the challenges you’re facing with the space. We’ll dive deeper into your aesthetic preferences and explore how the space can function better for you.

For a full space update, I’ll create mood boards to help us define your vision before we focus on specific items. If we’re only updating a few pieces—like replacing a rug or adding some new furniture—I’ll present several options at different price points that I believe will complement the existing elements in the room.

In both cases, we’ll have plenty of back-and-forth to ensure I fully understand your vision and that the final design works perfectly for your needs.

Do you travel?

The rates quoted on the services page cover a 10 mile radius from Ann Arbor. If you live outside of those parameters, we can chat!

I bought a bunch of home organizing products can we use them?

Absolutely! I love utilizing items clients already have but are not using or maximizing. I am also all about a repurpose and being sustainably minded when looking for items to help clients stay organized. Want all wood or all baskets? Let’s do it! Love the clear plastic bins? I’ll grab them! It is your nest, and I want to honor your values and your investment in your project!
